Welcome to the North West Model Aircraft Club.

With views like this it is no wonder many of us dream of becoming a pilot. Well now you can without even leaving the ground.

NWMAC is a radio controlled model aircraft club based on the outskirts of Derry / Londonderry in Northern Ireland and is affliated to the British Model Flying Association.
Our club's airfield occupies a 6 acre site and proudly boasts two runways, one of which is tarmac measuring some 60 metres. We also have our own purpose built club house with electricity and W/C facilities.

We have approximately 40 members of all ages and fly everything from Foamies and Jets to Drones and Helicopters. We pride ourselves on the warm welcome all visitors and friends receive at our club, so if you're new to aeromodelling and fancy taking up a new sport come along and have a go on our club trainer with our qualified instructor. We can also offer advice on purchasing models and equipment and can provide free tuition to club members helping get you in the air.
